Registration fee (including meals)

The congress fee includes the entire educational programme: classes, lectures, workshops, and discussions. Also included are films, concerts and entertainment, lunch and dinner. Breakfast for participants in campgrounds or group-accommodation plus SFr. 40. It will be served in the sport centre. Excursions not included!

Please pay your congress fee, plus SFr. 250,- for hotel reservation or the full amount for group accommodation, campsites as follows:

Cancellation / Change of booking

Refund of registration fee and advanced payment for lodging (less 100.-SFr. for administration costs) will be granted if notification of cancellation reaches the EVU Secretariat in writing before May 1, 1999. EVU may substantially reduce or refuse funds after that date. No refunds can be made for missed meals, for any reason, including late arrival or early departure. For change of booking there will be a charge of 100,-SFr.

Travel Information

Widnau is easily accessible:
Switzerland / Widnau

By train: Intercity trains, departing from Zürich main station every 30-60 min. (65 min. ride via Airport); Eurocity trains from Munich/Germany every 2h, (3h15’). Fast trains from Lucerne (2h) to St. Gallen and Heerbrugg/Widnau. From Chur/Davos every 1-2 hours to Heerbrugg/Widnau where you will find a shuttle.

By car: Swiss federal highway system (Motorway A13 direction Chur), 1 h from Zurich-area, 2h from Berne, Basle Lucerne, Exit Widnau/Diepoldsau. Follow indication to Widnau/Sportzentrum.

By plane: To Zürich-Kloten International Airport; from there direct Intercity -trains every 30-60 min. to St. Gallen, continue to Heerbrugg/Widnau Shuttle to Sportzentrum.
Fly Swissair which has been appointed Official Carrier for ‘The 7 th European Vegetarian Congress’. Make the most of the excellent inflight service, and arrive in the best of shape to enjoy the event!
