Some final thoughts about the 1. Mediterranean Festival

For us who had been working on the organisation for about a year, even though we were exhausted with the load of work, the presence and encouragement of all who came was indeed very inspiring. The happy peaceful atmosphere was not only to our credit, but also to each and every one who put their faith in this event and brought their hearts here.
It is important that the peaceful loving energy created in events such as this is continuously recharged. Collectively we can truly achieve great things. By being together, talking and listening to one another, we can understand each other better, enjoy working together even, tirelessly.
It is on occasions such as this that the experience of tirelessness is so real, and I know it was not only for me. John and Margaret were also fresh and smiling till the end.
I believe it is simply a matter of tapping into the common source of universal energy. I know some people may not agree with me, but the fact that there were a good number of spiritual people participating, gave the festival a nice subtle dimension. I believe it is important to include the element of spirituality in all our activities, whether major or minor.
And let us never forget to include the children. Our children's presentation was not such a big deal, just a number of children spontaneously putting up a short programme of poems about love for animals.
But maybe it will be good to work on the idea for the future. These sensitive children are our treasure that will change the world. Thanks again to all who brought their love to Malta.
